Needles: Circular needles 4 mm (40 and 60 cm), circular needles 3 mm (40 and 60 cm), double-pointed needles 4 mm and double-pointed needles 3 mm.

Raglan: Increase 1 stitch before/after 2 stockinette stitches in each transition between front/back piece and sleeves. The markers sit between these 2 stitches. Increase 1 stitch by making 1 yarn over (yo) on the needle. On the next row, knit the yarn over through the back loop (twisted knit) so that there are no holes.
Decrease Tip: (applies to sleeves): Decrease 1 stitch on each side of the marker as follows: Knit until 3 stitches remain before the marker, knit 2 stitches together, knit 2 stitches (the marker sits between these stitches), slip 1 stitch from the needle as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch (2 stitches decreased).
DESCRIPTION
The neckband and yoke are knitted in the round on circular needles from the center back, up and down. The yoke is divided into front and back pieces and sleeves. The front and back pieces are knitted in the round on circular needles. The sleeves are knitted in the round on double-pointed needles.
NECKBAND
Cast on 80 (80) 80 (88) 88 (88) stitches on double-pointed needles or circular needle 3 mm. Knit 1 row plain, then work rib (2 knit, 2 purl) in the round for 3 cm. Then knit the yoke as explained below.
YOKE
Change to circular needle 4 mm. Knit 1 row plain, at the same time placing 4 markers in the work and increasing as follows: Knit 13 (13) 13 (13) 13 (13) stitches plain (approx. half of the back piece), place 1 marker, knit 16 stitches plain and increase 3 stitches evenly distributed (sleeve), place 1 marker, 24 (24) 24 (28) 28 (28) stitches plain (front piece), place 1 marker, knit 16 stitches plain and increase 3 stitches evenly distributed (sleeve), place 1 marker, 11 (11) 11 (15) 15 (15) stitches plain (approx. half of the back piece) = 86 (86) 86 (94) 94 (94) stitches.
On the next row, begin the raglan increases and patterns A1 to A3 are knitted over the stitches on the sleeves. NOTE!Every time A1 to A3 are knitted once in height, knit an additional repeat of A2 in width between A1 and A3.
Knit 12 (12) 12 (12) 12 (12) stitches plain, increase 1 stitch for Raglan - see explanation above, 2 stitches plain (the marker sits between these 2 stitches), increase 1 stitch for raglan, knit A1, A2, A3, increase 1 stitch for raglan, 2 stitches plain (the marker sits between these 2 stitches), increase 1 stitch for raglan, knit 22 (22) 22 (26) 26 (26) stitches plain, increase 1 stitch for raglan, 2 stitches plain (the marker sits between these 2 stitches), increase 1 stitch for raglan, knit A1, A2, A3, increase 1 stitch for raglan, 2 stitches plain (the marker sits between these 2 stitches), increase 1 stitch for raglan, 10 (10) 10 (14) 14 (14) stitches plain.
Continue with stockinette stitch on the front/back piece, half-pattern on the sleeves and increase for raglan on each side of the 4 markers, on every other row a total of 9 (9) 7 (8) 8 (7) times (including the first increase) = 158 (158) 142 (158) 158 (150) stitches. Continue with increases on every other row, but every other time you increase, you now only increase on the front/back piece (4 stitches increased). That is, you increase on the front/back piece on every other row and on the sleeves on every 4th row.
Increase in this way 10 (12) 16 (14) 16 (18) times on the front/back piece (5 (6) 8 (7) 8 (9) times on the sleeves). Check your gauge! A4 shows 1 repeat of the pattern in height, make sure that A4 matches the already knitted pattern.
After the last increase, there are 218 (230) 238 (242) 254 (258) stitches on the row, you have increased 19 (21) 23 (22) 24 (25) times on the front/back piece and 14 (15) 15 (15) 16 (16) times on the sleeves.
Continue with stockinette stitch on the front/back piece and half-pattern on the sleeves, without increases until the work measures 15 (16) 17 (17) 18 (19) cm, measured after the rib in the center front/front. A4 shows 1 repeat of the pattern, make sure it matches the already knitted pattern.
Now the yoke is divided into front and back pieces and sleeves, i.e., the next row is knitted as follows: Knit the first 32 (34) 36 (35) 37 (38) stitches as before (approx. half of the back piece), place the next 47 (49) 49 (49) 51 (51) stitches on a thread for the sleeve, cast on 6 (6) 6 (8) 8 (10) new stitches on the row (at the side under the sleeve), 62 (66) 70 (72) 76 (78) stitches in stockinette stitch (front piece), place the next 47 (49) 49 (49) 51 (51) stitches on a thread for the sleeve, cast on 6 (6) 6 (8) 8 (10) new stitches on the row (at the side under the sleeve), knit the last 30 (32) 34 (37) 39 (40) stitches as before (approx. half of the back piece). The front and back pieces and sleeves are then knitted separately.
FRONT AND BACK PIECE
= 136 (144) 152 (160) 168 (176) stitches. Then knit in stockinette stitch. When the work measures 11 (13) 16 (20) 23 (24) cm from where the front and back pieces were divided from the sleeves, knit 1 plain row where 16 (16) 16 (16) 16 (20) stitches are increased evenly distributed = 152 (160) 168 (176) 184 (196) stitches. Change to circular needle 3 mm. Knit rib (2 knit, 2 purl) for 3 cm. Bind off with knit over knit and purl over purl. The sweater measures approx. 33 (36) 40 (44) 48 (50) cm from the shoulder down.
SLEEVE
Place the 47 (49) 49 (49) 51 (51) stitches from the thread on one side of the work onto double-pointed needles or a short circular needle 4 mm and pick up 1 stitch in each of the 6 (6) 6 (8) 8 (10) stitches that were cast on under the sleeve = 53 (55) 55 (57) 59 (61) stitches.
Place 1 marker in the middle of the 6 (6) 6 (8) 8 (10) stitches under the sleeve. Let the marker follow along in the work - it will be used a little later when decreasing under the sleeve. Start the row at the marker and continue the pattern as shown in A4, the stitches that do not work out evenly in a full half-pattern directly under the sleeve are knitted in stockinette stitch.
Adjust so that the pattern in A4 matches the half-pattern from A1 to A3.
At the same time, when the work measures 2 (2) 2 (2) 3 (3) cm from the division, decrease 1 stitch on each side of the marker - see Decrease Tip. Decrease in this way every 1 (1) 3 (3) 3 (4) cm a total of 3 (3) 2 (2) 2 (2) times = 47 (49) 51 (53) 55 (57) stitches.
Knit until the work measures 5 (5) 6 (6) 7 (9) cm from where the sleeve was divided from the front and back pieces or to the desired length, with approx. 3 cm remaining until finished measurements. Knit 1 plain row where 5 (7) 5 (7) 5 (7) stitches are increased evenly distributed = 52 (56) 56 (60) 60 (64) stitches.
Change to double-pointed needles 3 mm and knit rib (2 knit, 2 purl) for 3 cm. Bind off with knit over knit and purl over purl. The sleeve measures a total of 8 (8) 9 (9) 10 (12) cm from the division. Knit the second sleeve in the same way.
